Walt Ader

Walt Ader, an American driver born in 1913, is credited with a single World Championship start, which came in 1950 driving a Rae. His appearance came at the Indianapolis 500, which counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship from 1950 to 1960, making him one of the many American oval-racing specialists whose names entered the Grand Prix record books through that arrangement.

Ader did not score points in his lone start, and 1950, the championship's inaugural season, remained his only year of participation.
