Peter Ashdown

Peter Ashdown, a British driver born in 1934, made one World Championship start, at the wheel of a Cooper-Climax in 1959. He did not score points, and that appearance remained his only one in the championship.

Making his sole appearance at around 24 years of age, Ashdown found that the 1959 season marked both the beginning and the end of his Formula 1 record.
