Andrea Chiesa

Andrea Chiesa, a Swiss driver born in 1964, made three World Championship starts, all during the 1992 season with the small Fondmetal team.

Driving for an outfit with limited resources, Chiesa did not score points and was unclassified in the championship. His entire Formula 1 career was contained within that single campaign, which he began at the age of 27.

Three starts, no points and no further seasons: his statistical record is brief, typical of the drivers who passed through the smaller teams at the back of the early-1990s grid.
