Dempsey Wilson

Dempsey Wilson, an American driver born in 1927, made two World Championship starts, both at the Indianapolis 500 during the years when the race counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship. His first appearance came in 1958 driving a Kuzma, and he returned in 1960 at the wheel of a Kurtis Kraft. Neither outing brought championship points, and with the Indianapolis 500 dropping off the Formula 1 calendar after 1960, his two starts marked the extent of his World Championship record.
