Myron Fohr

Myron Fohr, an American driver born in 1912, made one World Championship start, which came at the 1950 Indianapolis 500 — the race counted toward the Formula 1 championship from 1950 to 1960, and Fohr's appearance came in the series' very first season.

Driving a Marchese, he did not score championship points, and the 1950 race remained his only entry in the Formula 1 record books. His is one of many American names that appear in the championship's earliest pages purely through the Indianapolis connection.
