Jerry Unser

Jerry Unser, an American driver born in 1932, made one World Championship start, in 1958, driving a Kurtis Kraft. His appearance came at the Indianapolis 500, which counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship from 1950 to 1960.

Like the other American oval-racing specialists whose Indianapolis efforts earned them a place in the Formula 1 records, Unser never raced in the championship's European rounds. His single start brought no points and stands as his complete World Championship record.
