John Nicholson

John Nicholson, a New Zealander born in 1941, made a single World Championship start, appearing with the small Lyncar operation in 1975 at the age of 33.

Like many drivers of the era who arrived in Formula 1 with minor privateer outfits, Nicholson was unable to trouble the scorers in his lone outing, and 1975 remained his only season at the top level. His brief championship record stands at one start with no points.
