Julian Bailey

Julian Bailey, a British driver born in 1961, made seven World Championship starts across two widely separated seasons. He first appeared with Tyrrell in 1988, then returned after a two-year absence to drive for Team Lotus in 1991.

His 1988 campaign with Tyrrell brought no points, but the Lotus comeback yielded the single point of his career, enough for 23rd place in the 1991 championship. In an era when only the top six finishers scored, that point represented a strong result for a struggling team.
