Erwin Bauer

Erwin Bauer, a German driver born in 1912, made one World Championship start, in the 1953 season, entering with Veritas machinery. Already in his early forties at the time, he did not score points and went unclassified in the standings.

His single appearance came during the early years of the World Championship, when German privateers in Veritas cars made up a notable portion of entries at their home events, and it remained his only outing at this level.
