Gabriel Bortoleto

Gabriel Bortoleto is a Brazilian racing driver born on 14 October 2004. One of the most decorated juniors of his generation, he won the FIA Formula 3 championship as a rookie in 2023 and followed it by taking the FIA Formula 2 title in 2024, also at the first attempt, a rare back-to-back feat that secured his Formula 1 graduation. He has scored 25 points across 33 starts to date.

A McLaren-backed talent managed by Fernando Alonso's company, Bortoleto made his F1 debut in 2025 with Sauber, the team transitioning into the Audi works project. He gradually found his feet through a tough rookie season, scoring points and finishing 19th in the championship as the squad prepared for its manufacturer era.

In 2026 Bortoleto races for Audi alongside the experienced Nico Hülkenberg. After nine rounds he sits 14th in the standings on 6 points as the new works team develops its package.
