Adrián Campos

Adrián Campos, a Spanish driver born in 1960, raced in Formula 1 for Minardi during the 1987 and 1988 seasons, making eighteen Grand Prix starts.

He joined the Italian team at the age of twenty-six and remained with it for the entirety of his championship career. Neither season brought points, at a time when scoring required a top-six finish and Minardi was still establishing itself near the back of the field.

His Formula 1 involvement ended during the 1988 season, closing his record at eighteen starts with a single team.

Campos was among the few Spanish drivers to compete in the World Championship during the 1980s, a period when Spain had little representation on the Grand Prix grid.
