Chuck Daigh

Chuck Daigh, an American driver born in 1923, made five World Championship starts, all during the 1960 season. His entries came with the Scarab team and in Cooper-Climax machinery.

The campaign brought no points, no podiums and no championship classification, and 1960 proved to be both his first and last season at this level.

Five starts compressed into a single year, most of them with the small Scarab operation, summarise a Formula 1 career that arrived and departed within one championship season, when Daigh was already in his mid-thirties.
