Frank Dochnal

Frank Dochnal, an American driver born in 1920, made a single World Championship Grand Prix start, which came in 1963 at the wheel of a Cooper-Climax. Unusually for an American of his generation, his one championship appearance came in road-racing machinery rather than at the Indianapolis 500. Already in his early forties by the time of his lone start, Dochnal scored no points, and his Formula 1 record begins and ends with that solitary 1963 outing.
