Carl Forberg

Carl Forberg, an American driver born in 1911, made one World Championship start, which came at the 1951 Indianapolis 500 — the race counted toward the Formula 1 championship from 1950 to 1960. He was forty years old at the time.

Driving a Kurtis Kraft, Forberg did not score championship points, and the 1951 race remained his sole entry in the Formula 1 records, one of the many Indianapolis appearances that dot the championship's earliest seasons.
