Patrick Friesacher

Patrick Friesacher, an Austrian driver born in 1980, spent a single season in Formula 1, making eleven Grand Prix starts for Minardi in 2005.

Driving for the perennial backmarkers of the era, Friesacher nonetheless managed to get on the scoreboard, collecting three championship points during his campaign — a rare and valuable haul for the small Italian team.

Those points left him twenty-first in the 2005 drivers' standings, and they represent the entirety of his Formula 1 return, as his time in the championship ended after that year.

Eleven starts, three points, no podiums or poles: a short record, but one with a points tally that many single-season Minardi drivers never managed.
