Guy Mairesse

Guy Mairesse, a French driver born in 1910, took part in the first two seasons of the Formula 1 World Championship, making three starts for Talbot-Lago in 1950 and 1951.

Already in his forties when the championship began, Mairesse was one of a number of French drivers who campaigned Talbot-Lago machinery in the World Championship's founding years. His three appearances brought no points.

His career at this level was brief, ending after the 1951 season, but it places him among the participants of the championship's very first era.
