David Hampshire

David Hampshire, a British driver born in 1917, took part in the inaugural Formula 1 World Championship season, making two starts in a Maserati in 1950.

Racing in the championship's very first year at the age of thirty-two, Hampshire scored no points, and his participation at the top level did not extend beyond that single season. His two appearances place him among the field of drivers who contested the World Championship at its founding.
