Yuji Ide

Yuji Ide, a Japanese driver born in 1975, had a brief Formula 1 career consisting of four Grand Prix starts in 2006 with the newly formed Super Aguri team. He arrived in the World Championship at the relatively late age of thirty-one.

Super Aguri was a fledgling operation in its first season, and Ide's four races produced no points. He was classified twenty-fifth in the final drivers' standings that year.

His involvement ended after those opening rounds of the 2006 campaign, making his one of the shortest careers among drivers of the modern era. Those four starts remain his complete Formula 1 record.
