Jolyon Palmer

Jolyon Palmer, a British driver born in 1991, competed in Formula 1 in 2016 and 2017, making thirty-seven Grand Prix starts, all with the Renault team. He entered the championship at the age of twenty-five.

His rookie season in 2016 coincided with Renault's return as a full works team, and Palmer scored a single point on his way to eighteenth in the drivers' standings. The following year brought a modest improvement: eight points and seventeenth place in the championship.

Palmer's Formula 1 career ended during that 2017 campaign, closing a two-season spell in which he accumulated nine points in total. His entire top-level record was written with a single team, a relatively uncommon distinction among drivers of the modern era.
