Pierre Levegh

Pierre Levegh, a French driver born in 1905, took part in the first two seasons of the Formula 1 World Championship, making six starts for Talbot-Lago across 1950 and 1951.

Already in his mid-forties when the championship began, he was typical of the experienced French campaigners who filled out the Talbot-Lago ranks in those founding years.

None of his six starts brought championship points, and his Formula 1 record closed at the end of 1951 after two seasons with the same French marque.
