Ernst Loof

Ernst Loof, a German driver born in 1907, made a single World Championship start in 1953 at the wheel of a Veritas. His appearance came in the early years of the championship, when small constructors and privateer entries filled out the grids alongside the works teams.

The outing yielded no points, and it remained Loof's only start at this level. His name is nonetheless part of the record of Veritas, one of the German marques that contested the World Championship in the early 1950s.
