Riccardo Paletti

Riccardo Paletti, an Italian driver born in 1958, contested the 1982 Formula 1 season with the small Osella team, recording three Grand Prix starts.

Aged 23 at the start of his debut campaign, Paletti was one of several young Italians brought into the sport by Osella in the early 1980s. His three starts brought no championship points, reflecting the limited competitiveness of the machinery at his disposal.

The 1982 season was his only one at World Championship level, and his Formula 1 record stands at three starts in Osella colours.
