Ernesto Prinoth

Ernesto Prinoth, an Italian driver born in 1923, made a single World Championship start, at the wheel of a Lotus-Climax in the 1961 season. He was in his late thirties by the time the opportunity came, racing customer Lotus machinery of the kind widely used by privateers in the early 1960s. The appearance produced no points and no championship classification, and it remained his only start at this level.
