Fritz Riess

Fritz Riess, a German driver born in 1922, made one World Championship start in 1952 at the wheel of a Veritas. Like many of his compatriots who appeared with the German marque in the early 1950s, he came away without points, and that single outing at around thirty years of age remained the full extent of his Formula 1 career.
