Alexander Rossi

Alexander Rossi is an American driver who made five Formula 1 starts, all during the 2015 season with Manor Marussia. Born in 1991, he was twenty-three when he stepped onto a Grand Prix grid, one of very few Americans to do so in the 2010s.

Driving for the smallest team in the field, he had no realistic prospect of points and finished the year twentieth in the drivers' championship with none scored. His Formula 1 involvement ended after that part-season of five races, a brief chapter that nonetheless made him a rare American presence in the modern World Championship.
