Jean-Louis Schlesser

Jean-Louis Schlesser, a French driver born in 1948, made a single World Championship start, appearing for Williams during the 1988 season. Coming into Formula 1 at nearly forty years of age, his was one of the briefest careers on record at the sport's top level.

That lone outing with Williams yielded no championship points, and Schlesser did not return to the World Championship grid afterwards, leaving his Formula 1 record at one start with a front-running constructor.
