Lee Wallard

Lee Wallard, an American driver born in 1910, made two World Championship starts, both at the Indianapolis 500, which counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship between 1950 and 1960. He drove a Moore in 1950 and a Kurtis Kraft in 1951.

The second of those starts brought victory: Wallard won in 1951, collecting nine points and seventh place in that year's World Championship standings. With one win from two starts, his 50 percent win rate is among the highest recorded, and his championship career ended with that triumph at the age of 40.
