Aston Butterworth

Aston Butterworth was a British racing outfit that competed in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1952, taking part across 1 season during the formative first decade of the World Championship.

Like many of the small privateer entries that filled the grids of its day, the team did not score championship points, but its participation was part of the fabric of Formula 1 in an era when privateers and one-off entrants were a common sight.

Drivers to appear for the team included Bill Aston and Robin Montgomerie-Charrington.
