Gerry Ashmore

Gerry Ashmore, a British driver born in 1936, made four World Championship starts across the 1961 and 1962 seasons. He drove a Lotus-Climax in 1961 and BRM machinery in 1962.

Neither season brought points, and his championship record closed after those two years. Making his starts in his mid-twenties, Ashmore was one of numerous British drivers of the early 1960s whose Grand Prix opportunities were limited to a handful of appearances in privately fielded cars.
