Gino Bianco

Gino Bianco, a Brazilian driver born in 1916, made four World Championship starts, all during the 1952 season driving a Maserati. He was around 35 years old at the time.

None of his four outings brought championship points, and he was unclassified in the final standings. Racing a privateer Maserati against the dominant works entries of the day, points were always going to be a tall order.

His single season made him one of the earliest Brazilian drivers to compete in the World Championship, decades before his countrymen became a fixture at the front of the grid.
