Eric Brandon

Eric Brandon, a British driver born in 1920, made five World Championship starts for Cooper, split between the 1952 and 1954 seasons. He debuted at thirty-one, during the years when the championship was run to Formula 2 regulations and Cooper was establishing itself as a constructor.

His 1952 campaign accounted for the bulk of his appearances, with a further outing following in 1954 after a year away from the championship. None of his starts yielded points.

Brandon's entire top-level record was compiled with Cooper machinery, making him one of the marque's early standard-bearers in the World Championship, several years before the company's rear-engined revolution transformed the sport.
