Max Chilton

Max Chilton is a British driver who made 35 Formula 1 starts across the 2013 and 2014 seasons, both spent with the Marussia team.

He debuted in 2013 at the age of 21 and contested a full campaign, classifying 23rd in the championship. He stayed with the team for 2014, improving to 21st in the standings, though points remained out of reach in both years.

Marussia occupied the back rows of the grid throughout Chilton's time in the sport, and his record of zero points from 35 starts owes much to the machinery at his disposal; completing two near-full seasons with such a team was itself the substance of the job.

His Formula 1 career ended after 2014, closed out entirely within a single team over two consecutive seasons.
