Bob Evans

Bob Evans, a British driver born in 1947, made ten Formula 1 World Championship starts in the mid-1970s, competing across the 1975 and 1976 seasons.

His principal campaign came in 1975 with BRM, where he raced a full programme but was unable to break into the points. For 1976 he moved to Team Lotus, and his career record also includes an association with Brabham-Ford machinery, yet points continued to elude him.

Evans ended his Formula 1 career without a championship point from his ten starts, his two seasons passing without wins, podiums or poles — a short spell at the top level that never brought a tangible reward.
