Esteban Gutiérrez

Esteban Gutiérrez, a Mexican driver born in 1991, raced in Formula 1 across three seasons between 2013 and 2016, making fifty-nine starts.

He entered the sport with Sauber in 2013 at the age of twenty-one, and his rookie year proved his best: six points, a fastest lap, and sixteenth place in the World Championship. A second season with Sauber in 2014 brought no points as the team struggled, and Gutiérrez lost his race seat for 2015.

He returned in 2016 with the newly formed Haas F1 Team, completing a full season but again failing to score, finishing twenty-first in the standings.

All six of Gutiérrez's career points came in his debut campaign, and his fastest lap remains a notable single-race highlight in a career otherwise spent fighting outside the points.
