Bill Homeier

Bill Homeier, an American driver born in 1918, made three World Championship starts between 1954 and 1960, all at the Indianapolis 500, which counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship during that period.

Driving a Kurtis Kraft, he went unrewarded in 1954 but scored a single point in 1955, enough for twenty-fourth in that year's championship standings.

After a gap of several seasons he returned for a final start in a Kuzma in 1960, closing a championship record of three starts and one point earned across the decade.
