Ian Stewart

Ian Stewart, a British driver born in 1929, made one World Championship start, entering a Grand Prix in 1953 for Connaught. He was twenty-four years old at the time of his sole appearance at the sport's top level.

Connaught was one of several small British constructors attempting to establish themselves in the early years of the World Championship, and Stewart's outing with the marque produced no points. The 1953 season marked both the beginning and the end of his Formula 1 record.
