Rudolf Krause

Rudolf Krause, an East German driver born in 1907, made two World Championship appearances, one each in 1952 and 1953, driving BMW-powered machinery. He was already in his mid-forties when he took part, a not uncommon profile in the early years of the championship.

Neither start produced points, and his involvement at this level was limited to those two events. His career at the top level thus consists of a brief snapshot from the championship's formative period.
