Jackie Lewis

Jackie Lewis, a British driver born in 1936, made ten Formula 1 starts across the 1961 and 1962 seasons, driving Cooper-Climax machinery; his record also notes associations with BRM and Cooper.

His debut season proved his best. In 1961 he scored three championship points, good for thirteenth in the drivers' standings, a solid return at a time when only the leading six finishers in a race scored at all.

The 1962 campaign brought no further points, and his World Championship career ended that year at the age of 26, with three points from ten starts as its summary.
