About Herbert MacKay-Fraser

Herbert MacKay-Fraser, an American driver born in 1927, made a single World Championship start, driving for BRM in 1957 at the age of 29.

Unusually for an American of that era — most of his compatriots appeared in the championship only through the Indianapolis 500 — MacKay-Fraser's one start came in a European Grand Prix car. The race produced no points, and it stands as his only appearance in the World Championship record.
