Kazuki Nakajima

Kazuki Nakajima, a Japanese driver born in 1985, made thirty-six Formula 1 starts between 2007 and 2009, spending his entire Grand Prix career with Williams.

After a brief introduction at the end of 2007, his first full campaign in 2008 proved his best: nine championship points, enough for fifteenth in the drivers' standings.

The 2009 season was less kind — he finished it without a point and was classified twentieth — and his Formula 1 career concluded at the year's end.

All nine of Nakajima's career points came in that single 2008 season, making his three years with Williams a story of early promise that the final campaign could not sustain.
