Ian Raby

Ian Raby, a British driver born in 1921, made three World Championship starts between 1963 and 1965. He debuted in his early forties with the small Gilby concern before switching to a Brabham-BRM, which he raced in both 1964 and 1965.

All three seasons ended without points or a championship classification, a common outcome for the independent entrants who ran customer machinery against the works teams of the mid-1960s.

His Formula 1 record — three starts across three consecutive seasons, in two different privateer cars — closed after 1965.
