The 1965 Season

Jim Clark won his second world championship in dominant fashion, sweeping six Grands Prix for Lotus in the final year of the 1.5-litre formula. Clark famously skipped the Monaco Grand Prix to win the Indianapolis 500 the same month, yet still clinched the F1 title with ease.

Lotus secured another Constructors' Championship as Clark's blend of speed and smoothness left rivals trailing. It capped the Clark-Lotus partnership's golden era before the rules changed dramatically the following year.
