Alex Ribeiro

Alex Ribeiro, a Brazilian driver born in 1948, made ten Formula 1 starts across the 1976 and 1977 seasons. He entered the championship in his late twenties with Hesketh before moving to March for 1977, where the bulk of his racing was done.

Neither season yielded championship points, and he went unclassified in the standings both years. His machinery — a fading Hesketh followed by a customer March — placed him firmly among the strugglers of the late-1970s midfield and back of the grid.
