About Ricardo Rosset
Ricardo Rosset is a Brazilian driver who made twenty-seven World Championship starts across the 1996 and 1998 seasons. Born in 1968, he arrived in Formula 1 at twenty-seven with Footwork, completing a full rookie campaign without scoring.
After sitting out the 1997 season he returned with Tyrrell for 1998, the British team's final year under that name, but the car offered little opportunity and he again finished the year without points or a championship classification.
His two seasons thus produced twenty-seven starts and no points, podiums or poles. The one-year gap in the middle of such a short career, followed by a return in uncompetitive machinery, left Rosset's Formula 1 record as a footnote to the crowded midfield-and-back grids of the late 1990s.
