Danny Sullivan

Danny Sullivan, an American driver born in 1950, competed in Formula 1 in 1983, making fifteen World Championship starts for Tyrrell. He came to Grand Prix racing at thirty-three, contesting a single full season with the British team.

The year yielded two championship points, which classified him seventeenth in the drivers' standings. With points then awarded only to the top six finishers, getting on the scoreboard in a midfield Tyrrell was a creditable return for a first campaign.

It was, however, also his last: Sullivan did not appear in the World Championship again after 1983, and his Formula 1 record stands at that one season, fifteen starts and two points.
