David Walker

David Walker, an Australian driver born in 1941, competed in Formula 1 across the 1971 and 1972 seasons, making eleven World Championship starts. Both of his campaigns came with Lotus, first under the Lotus-Pratt & Whitney banner in 1971 and then with Team Lotus for a full season in 1972.

His 1971 involvement was limited, but 1972 gave him a sustained run of Grand Prix starts. Despite the machinery at his disposal, Walker never scored a World Championship point: eleven starts yielded no points, no podiums and no classified championship position in either year.
