Christijan Albers

Christijan Albers, a Dutch driver born in 1979, competed in Formula 1 from 2005 to 2007, making 46 starts. His three seasons were spent entirely at the tail end of the grid: he debuted with Minardi in 2005, drove for MF1 in 2006, and finished his career with Spyker in 2007.

His most productive season was his first. With Minardi in 2005 he scored four points, which would remain his career total, and was classified nineteenth in the championship. Under the scoring system of the time, points for a Minardi were a notable achievement.

The 2006 season with MF1 brought a 22nd-place classification without points, and his final campaign with Spyker in 2007 ended with him 25th in the standings before his time in the championship concluded.
