Henry Banks

Henry Banks, an American driver born in 1913, made three World Championship starts between 1950 and 1952, during the earliest years of the championship. He appeared once in each of those three seasons, driving a Maserati in 1950 before switching to American-built Moore and Lesovsky machinery in 1951 and 1952 respectively.

Banks did not score any championship points across his three appearances, a common outcome in an era when only the top finishers were rewarded. He was already in his late thirties when the World Championship began, having made his debut at around 36 years of age.

With three different cars in three seasons and no two starts for the same constructor, his championship record reflects a brief and scattered involvement at the top level rather than a sustained campaign.
