Bruno Senna

Bruno Senna, a Brazilian driver born in 1983, competed in Formula 1 from 2010 to 2012, making 46 Grand Prix starts for three different teams. He entered the championship at twenty-six with the newly formed HRT outfit.

That 2010 debut season at the back of the grid produced no points and twenty-third in the standings. A move to Renault for 2011 brought his first two championship points and eighteenth place, marking a clear step forward in machinery.

His final and most productive year came with Williams in 2012, when he scored 31 points — the overwhelming majority of his career total of 33 — and finished sixteenth in the drivers' championship. That season also brought the single fastest lap of his career.

Senna's three-year spell traced a steady climb through the field, from a new backmarker team to an established constructor, with each change of team improving his results before his Formula 1 career concluded at the end of 2012.
