Ivor Bueb

Ivor Bueb, a British driver born in 1923, made five World Championship starts between 1957 and 1959. His entries came with a variety of machinery, including Connaught, Cooper, Maserati and Lotus cars.

He spent his first two championship seasons with Connaught entries in 1957 and 1958, before appearing in Cooper machinery in 1959. None of his five starts produced championship points.

Bueb's Formula 1 involvement, beginning at the age of thirty-three, spanned the closing years of the front-engined era, and his spread of teams across just five starts reflects the freelance nature of many British drivers' Grand Prix careers in the late 1950s.
